Camille Munro, is an Edge Agency Model and Actress whose credits includes Saskatchewan Fashion Week (2012 to 2018), 2013 Juno Awards Promo, Kevin Hart ‘What Now’ Tour (2016), Red Carpet and Concert Host for SACHM Presents Measha Brueggergosman “Songs of Freedom” (2017) and Saskatchewan African Fashion Show (2018).
In 2013 Camille represented Canada at the 63rd Miss World Pageant in Bali, Indonesia as Miss World Canada 2013. Camille finished 14th place overall and also placed 5th in the Talent Final portion of the competition out of 134 countries.
Camille graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Human Justice Degree receiving an Academic Silver Prize in her final semester. Building on her undergraduate studies and her passion for social justice, Camille continues to work in the Justice field and is excited for what the future will bring.
Camille has volunteered with several charities and organizations throughout the years and believes that giving back to her community is important for personal growth and for the success of our cities. Camille feels privileged to be a part of the diversity and excellence of people of African Canadian ancestry and proud to be a member of SACHM.
Life in Saskatchewan
Camille became the first woman in 50 years from Saskatchewan to be named Miss World Canada in 2013 (although in 1963, the pageant was called Miss Dominion of Canada and was won by Jane Kmita of Regina).
