Dear Saskatchewan Artists,

We are excited to announce that the application deadline for the Building Arts Equity: BPOC Program has been extended to November 30th! This is a fantastic opportunity for artists of all stages - whether emerging or established - to access vital support for your artistic journey.

The Building Arts Equity: BPOC Program is dedicated to enhancing accessibility to arts and cultural resources for artists of colour, specifically those of African, Black, Asian, Latin American, Caribbean, and Middle Eastern descent. Here’s how you can benefit from this enriching program:

Create and Develop New Work: Receive the support you need to bring your artistic vision to life, especially if you are a first-time or underserved artist.

Mentorship Opportunities: Collaborate with experienced BPOC artists and cultural leaders who can guide you in your creative process.

Performance, Exhibition, and Presentation Development: Gain initial support to showcase your work to the public, helping you build your audience and enhance your visibility.

Build Connections: Engage with your community and connect with both BPOC and non-BPOC organizations to develop and lead impactful arts activities.

Cultural Exchange: Share and learn from the rich artistic knowledge and cultural practices of your heritage, bridging generations and fostering inclusivity.

This program is proudly supported by SK Arts and SaskCulture, in partnership with the Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan, aiming to prioritize equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in the arts.

If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly - I’m here to help! I would love to assist you in navigating this exciting opportunity.

Don’t miss out on the chance to elevate your artistic practice and connect with a vibrant community of artists. Apply now and take a bold step toward your creative future!
