Sharon-Ann Brown is a Regina-based Canadian author, community leader, mentor and cultural advocate known for her work in literature, music, and heritage preservation.

· Author: Sharon-Ann writes children’s books, including the Adventures of Alfie series, drawing inspiration from special moments with her grandson. Her stories are joyful and imaginative, celebrating family connections and the wonder found in everyday life.

· Arts & Performance: She is a trained mezzo-soprano opera singer and professional narrator, using her voice to engage audiences through both musical performance and storytelling. In the fall of 2017, Sharon-Ann spent several weeks studying under the tutelage of renowned voice coach Karen Nimereala of New York, USA, where she received intensive, high-level voice training. · Community Leader: Sharon-Ann is currently the Chair of the Saskatchewan African Canadian Heritage Museum (SACHM). In that role she helps organize and attend collaborative events across Canada, preserve African Canadian history, and launch Black History Month programming across Saskatchewan. Collaborated with senior government officials on the development of a provincial cultural framework and legislation in Saskatchewan. In February 2023 and 2025, Sharon-Ann was the Guest Speaker at the 'Enhanced Canadian Citizenship Ceremony' that was held virtually in those years. · Honours: In 2023 she was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal for her contributions to community and culture in Saskatchewan. She has also been a featured speaker at civic events and ceremonies.
